This is the section dedicated solely to my fellow
guitar geeks so if this doesn't describe you please stop
reading this NOW! :)
On the E-1 Records release "THREE
KINGS", I used the same amp on all of the
tracks. My FUCHS OVERDRIVE SUPREME 50 watt head
and my MESA/BOOGIE Tiel Cabinet with 1X12 inch
EMINANCE speaker.
The only pedals I sometimes used are a
FULL TONE OCD overdrive and
an
MXR Dynocomp compressor (script
logo.)
The 3 guitars I used are on a lot of my
records:
1965 Red FENDER Stratocaster, stock pickups with
a SEYMORE DUNCAN FULL SHRED Pickup in the
bridge.
1969 LES PAUL GOLD TOP with full size Gibson PAF
reissue pickups.
1959 GIBSON 345 with the Varitone switch
bypassed, Stock
otherwise.
All the songs were cut with the treble pickup
except EVERYDAY, which was the bass
pickup.
STUMBLIN' HOME is the split coil on the
treble pickup making it single coil instead of
humbucking.
