I discovered you a while ago in the Steve Ferrone-video and immediately checked out your latest cd and was really overthrown by it, it's excellent!! Hope to see you on tour in Europe soon!!
Saw your show in Reading 7/28/99. We had a group of potential fans with us at Exeter High School and I hate to admit it , but we were somewhat disappointed. Were you tired from your show in NYC earlier? I saw you perform in the rain a few years ago in Reading and I saw you again at the Lincoln Plaza in March for Jazzfest 99, and you were magnificant!! It seemed as though you just wouldn't let loose Sat. night??

Great to see you again. The show down at City Hall was wonderful. Your songs struck well. I wish you would play more around New York.

I recently took a temp assignment in Springfield,Virginia and found this great jazz station, 105.9. In the midst of morning rush hour, the air personality played this song by a guy named Jeff Golub, a Velvet something or another. I was wiped out!!!. The rest of the day I walked around humming the song or the parts I could remember. After work, I went to a Borders and found your CD after I andthe clerk could rember and pronouce your last name. I drove back to Baltimore after sitting in Redskin traffic for two hours, with the thought of you rVelvet song on my mind.
I want you to know that I also moved this weekend and played the CD all wekkend into this morning.!!Thanks so much for your gift of great music. I'll have to tape it for theride in.
A New Fan.

You and Avenue Blue "rocked the house" to be sure at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. Excellent!!! I went to Oregon all the way from New Mexico, and you made that effort really pay off. I very much enjoyed your music and your stage presence, you seem like a very nice guy. That attitude makes the jazz even sweeter!!
Take care...a Hispanic friend in New Mexico

Just a note to tell you and the group how much I appreciate your music. Carlton was my Jazz favorite until I started listening to you. Your funky soulful sound is too much. Best wishes to you and your group. "Out Of The Blue" is a great CD. I just ordered the first two Avenue Blue CD's also. Keep up the good work.

Jeff- I think Ken Richey said the same thing I was going to say about the performance at the Mount Hood Jazz Festival. From one Jeff to another, I too hope that you guys will come back next year and lay down some more firey tunage. Thanks again!

Just caught your show yesterday at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival in Gresham Oregon. You Rocked! I was near the end of the autograph line and they ran out of your C.D.s. Last year I also worked the festival. Every year someone I've never heard just blows me away. Last year it was Joyce Cooling, this year it was you and your band. I ran out and bought 'Out Of The Blue' today. I think my neighbors now know who you are! Keep up the great work and come back and rock the Northwest soon. Take Care.

YOU ARE MARVELOUS!!!! I recently saw you perform at the Winter Park Jazz festival in Colorado (July 17) and I must say that you are truly an astounding guitar player. I am honored that a musician of your stature was kind enough to take a picture with me (which I treasure). You are a true gentleman and unlike most musicians, take the time to meet your fans. I really appreciate that. I purchased "Naked City" and "Nightlife" which I listen to every day and which you were so kind as to autograph for me. I will be attending "JazzFest99" in NYC on August 28th and cannot wait to witness your amazing guitar playing once again!
All the best to you,
