Hi, Jeff, Suzy(did I spel right today?); The new picture in tour schedule nice. Did you use fire work? I got "Unplugged". I called Samgoody and went to get it but it was $18.98 ( I guess that's satandard price theses day)So, I did not get it, I told manager, then she gave it to me. But your play is blended in and hard to hear. When Rod Stwart album ad comes on, I triy to look for you but I don't see. I'd like to catch VH1 but my boyfriend shrunk cable package, so, I have to ask him to get it back. The other day, I asked CD104.3(local smooth jazz station here)aabout "Cut the Cake", they said they are not planning to play it. They've been playing "Drop Top", the guy says, if aaa lots of people ask like me, they might play. People, will you request radio station to play "Sut The Cake"?! So that we can listen to it. http://www.cd1043.com is their web site. The other day, my girl was in a young singer's web page, I peaked in, then, it has a entry box to call up radio station. Can you do that in Jeff's web paage? then we can click on that and request get done. Jeff, Take care of your hand. Later. Yoshiko

Jeff's music has been an inspiration to me as a musician and I regard him as one of the most talented and tasteful guitarists in today's music scene. His careful and elegant choice of notes keeps me hitting the repeat button on my cd player almost daily. I find his music relaxing and often uplifting and will continue to follow Jeff's progress. I thank you, Jeff, for helping me grow as a guitarist(even though our musical styles are completely different) and hope to catch you in a live setting some day. Thanks again!

I have a question ... are you the "other" guitarist in Billy Squier's "In the Dark" video? Saw it last night on a VH-1 station. I really enjoy your music!

I was a very young adult in the 70's and followed rock and roll guitar heroes. I studied the musicians live and their recordings and feel that I know superior guitar work and melodies. I thought that most of the greats were in the Rock sector...and there were plenty of great ones. However, after getting into jazz in the mid to late 80's, I realized the technical master guitar players in this sound. Then I saw Jeff Golub live on the Guitars and Saxes last year. His CDs are great, but do him no justice to his live performances. He plays the instument as a technician. He is a living legend.

I ordered "Do It Again" Ihope you can put sound clip some where. I have not heard "cut the cake" on radio yet. Is it supposed to be on smooth jazz sation or what? I turn on radio now. I have not listening radio these day Watching Olimpic. I think comercial is pushing artistic point of view a little in this American Olinpic. I saw clitiq of Grammy in msc coment saying, "It's going back wards in stead of step up...what's all those 80's..etc... Jazz was pop to bigin with. etc.." Like I said I got all the original albums of songs goes in your album. I'll see what's cookin' in there. I saw new "what's on.." I don't have none of those cd's. Checkn' later. Yoshiko

Hi Jeff, I'm an old school friend of Tony Brannon's. He tells me that you are a friend of his. I have been working on radio in the Canary Islands presenting a smooth jazz programme. I have followed you for a long time (that's not in the "stalking" sense by the way) and I have voted for you in the Awards. Not looking for re-compense just telling you, as you are a friend of Tony's. The Canary Islands are very backward vis a vis Jazz, so I was something quite exciting there. I will be going to Bermuda to try my hand on Bermuda radio, with a little help from Tony. Maybe meet sometime !! Is Guitars & Saxes coming to London ? I'm also a great fan of both Richard Elliot and Warren Hill !! See ya

Hi Jeff, Just wanted to say Hello! I have many of your CD's and listen to you always on the radio. The Copley H.S. gang came and saw you down at Tangier's last spring. You were fantastic! I think half of our class came see you perform. Thank you so much again for the CD that you gave to me for the Copley H.S. Music Auction. Your CD alone raised an amazing amount! Cliff Greive from our class bought your CD. You had said that night that you wished you had an old quitar or something to donate. We really appreciated the donation to a great music department at Copley. This year our auction is April 13, 2002 up in the Copley High School commons. It would be so cool if you could help us out with any type of a donation! Our theme for the auction is the "Blues". I am so happy for your success is life and I wish you and your family the very best. Hope you can return to the area again soon for another great performance. I'll get Carolyn and Rose and Debbie a! nd the Copley folks to all come and see you again. Keep up those great Blues!!!!! Take Care. Cindy PS. Today is my son's 18th birthday. He plays the sax and my other son plays trumpet.

Hi Jeff; I like your new format of guest book entry. I got last cd of originals to be in your new cd, "the best of Chris Rea". "On The Beach" is the best. It kind of like "Dangerous Curve" Over all sound country, 1st time, I skipped except "On the Beach" but like "Julia" got my attention cause it has Japanese "taiko" drum with bluegrass. I guess this pick is coming from that you wanted to be bluegrass musician.****I got Tax done and I asked the lady how can I say I am a musician so that I can write off all the CD I bought. She said to me "Don't fool with th egovernment." I told a friend of mine whoes wife is actress, he said she writes off movie and play and everything, he said make shre not exceed a penny. By the way, I am making my web site and your is model. Later Yoshiko
