Hi,
I can’t believe that another
year has past by already. But you know,if I really think
about it I guess a lot has happened in the past 12
months. The Guitars and Saxes tour was GREAT!
Gerald,Peter, Richard and the band were a blast to play
with.
I had some time off over the
Christmas holiday so I had a great time with Audrey and
the kids. My boys are becoming more like little men
everyday and that’s fun.
I just finished recording a new
CD which will be released in March. It’s called “Grand
Central” and I LOVE it! I got back to a very live in the
studio approach because I think that’s what I do best (
and what I enjoy doing the most). We did most of it in
New York which made it a very comfortable vibe for me.
Some of my favorite musicians and best friends were
involved which also made it fun. There’s contributions
from Rick Braun, Paul Brown, Richard Elliot, Philippe
Saisse and Kirk Whalum among others.
Speaking of Kirk Whalum, we’ve
recently confirmed the line up for the 2007 Guitars and
saxes tour and this one I HAD to be a part of. It will
be Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Tim Bowman and myself.
WOW !!!I can’t wait!
