Hi,
I'm so happy it's summer! I could
care less what the first day of summer is officially. It
will be June 21st soon enough - for a number of reasons.
One being that my new CD The THREE
KINGS will be released on June 28th. It's a
tribute to BB, Freddie and Albert King and you all know
how I feel about them! I'm so excited that I am with a
record label that would let this record happen!
I have the best band in the world
with me. As soon as I played one gig with these guys I
knew that they would need to record this CD. It's Josh
Dion on drums and vocals, Andy Hess (from Gov't
Mule, the Black Crows and John Scofield band) on bass,
and Henry Butler on piano and vocals (you may have seen
him on a recent episode of TREME on HBO. He's from New
Orleans and they stay pretty true to real New Orleans
music for that show.)
Also Rick Braun - Trumpet, Euge
Groove - tenor sax, Nick Lane trombone and horn
arrangements and Dave Woodford on Baritone Sax. Chris Palmaro on Hammond
B3 organ throughout.
Anyway it's a GREAT
band and a GREAT CD so please buy when it comes
out.
