Hi,
I must admit I'm really excited. "Nightlife" has been the #1
song on the Smooth Jazz Radio Charts for 4 weeks now. I've
worked on number 1 records before but this is the first time
I've had one of my own. Many thanks to anyone who's called
the radio stations to request it.
What's even more exciting is that our cat, Ruby, had 4
kittens. They're little 10 day old Maine Coon's that
all look like Yota from Star Wars.They are just starting
to open they're eyes and look a little more like
small cats.
Other than that it's been business as usual. I've been
trying to enjoy as much of the summer like weather as
I can before fall and winter set in.
Also, the shows we've been doing lately have been great
fun. A lot of co-bills with long time friends like Rick
Braun, Philippe Saisse, Gato Barbieri and Chris Botti.
Most of these guys I use to work with as session players
for other people (except Gato) and it's been cool running
into them on the road all playing our own music now.
