September 1997
Hi to all!
Thanks for checking in. This has been a very
busy month. Lots of running around preparing
for the release of the new CD, "Nightlife"...
and now it's finally out. I want to thank all
of you that have already picked it up. After
all the hard work it takes to write and record
the music for a new CD it becomes really fun
when it's finally released and people can now
hear what you've been so close to for so long.
I hope you like it.
I'm also doing my best to enjoy the summer in
spite of my busy schedule. As I'm writing this
I'm on a flight from LA to NY. But...one day
after I was originally scheduled to be booked.
Yesterday in my usual style of time mis-
management, I arrived at the airport just in
time to watch my plane take off without me.
The next flight wasn't leaving for another 6
hours so I opted to put my flight off fo another
day...took a cab straight for the beach, checked
into a beautiful suite, stopped at the giftshop
to by a swim suit and within 45 minutes of my
previously scheduled flight time, I was sitting
poolside, watching the Pacific waves crash on
the beach with an ice cold Corona in my hand.
I felt like I was in an American Express commercial.
I completely spoiled myself for 24 hours. Now I'm
returning home a much more contented and relaxed
man than I was yesterday.
Sometimes you can take what seems like a terrible
inconvenience and turn it into a positive experience.
(Although I may not agree with this next month
when my credit card bill arrives.)
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
